Crown of Jewels. Here is the Imperial State Crown from 1937. Stunning. Just unbelievable.
The Tower of London holds 20 towers, 13 of them within the walls. Here are pictures of the tower as well as an artists take on the tower and the history it holds. My favorite part was about Anne Boleyn, I guess more so that the story (from the movie The Other Boleyn Girl) was so true. It was interesting seeing the actual spot where she was beheaded and hearing how when the executor knew she was scared of dying so he threw the ax down in the middle of her prayers instead of letting her finish first. The next tale is the most bizarre, afterwards when her head was raise for the crowd to see for 20 seconds her eyes were still blinking looking at the crowd and her lips were still moving finishing her prayers. Only six Queens/Lady's were executed within the walls, Anne being one of the them, look for the picture below of the round glass monument surrounded by brick and grass. Enjoy.
