Condé Nast didn't study how to build a magazine empire?? Wait.

Condé Nast Building
4 Times Square
New York NY 10036

1996 construction started, opened in 2000. Standing with 48 floors and NYC's 12th tallest building.

Condé Montrose Nast, born: 1873. Although he earned a Law degree from Washington University (St. Louis), he decided not to pursue it and his first job was advertising manager for Collier's Weekly increasing revenue "100 fold". After a 10 year stint at Collier's, he bought Vogue which at the time was a small NY society magazine - nothing like it is today, thanks to Nast! His next success -  Vanity Fair then on to House and Garden and many more! His view was different than the rest as he focused on readers via income level or common interest. Thank you Mr. Nast! The point? Try try again, the least common path. Push, follow your heart or instincts and you just might be on to something xx
