East Village Culture - from The Standard to best Tea spot!

Physical GraffiTea

 96 Saint Marks Place

New York, NY 10009

Fifty years ago, The East Village was referred to as the slums - how fast neighborhoods can turn around! Now, this part of town is edgier than ever. With every type of restaurant you could imagine, to every street festival possible. Once you are done admiring the graffiti on buildings which is now appreciated art, allow yourself to wonder into the cutest tea spot on St Marks Place called Physical Graffitea (hint get the Matcha Latte with soy milk and honey - a local favorite) and if my music lovers take a walk outside - can you tell which famous band used the front of this building as their album cover? Answer is here!

The Standard Hotel ~ East Village
25 Cooper Square
Bowery at East 5th Street
New York, NY 10003

Moving onto my most recent favorite spot - for so long friends mentioned the delicious brunch, the gorgeous "you do not feel you are in NY" outside garden and this being THEE chic spot for drinks after work. I finally tested out their restaurant, Narcissa, and it lived up to all the hype! Visually dreamy with very very tasty food. Stop by the restaurant or the cafe for a lovely time.

Enjoy the pics for now ;)
