Ever wonder what the F stood for in F. Scott Fitzgerald?

Well... wonder no more! F. Scott Fitzgerald - the man who coined the term "The Jazz Age" of the 20's, who married the wildly interesting Zelda Sayre and of course the brilliant dreamer and writer behind The Great Gatsby...  Fitzgerald was named after Francis Scott Key, who was the author of “The Star-Spangled Banner” !! How interesting. I was always curious about the "F" but now even more intrigued by the middle name "Key"(which Fitz holds as well).

Great article on Fitz and The Great Gatsby and photo from... Vanity Fair
